Chris Nichols is a Principal within Palm Tree’s Operations Advisory practice. He leads and manages client engagements providing operational expertise for private equity and corporate clients.
Mr. Nichols brings over 20 years of experience in multiple industries and has extensive operations management experience. He is a Lean expert, who enables learning throughout the operations team with exhaustive coaching and mentoring while ensuring key metrics provide organizational alignment and accountability. In addition, he has a wealth of integrated business planning experience, which includes demand planning, scheduling, capacity modeling and effective warehouse layout / processes.
Prior to joining Palm Tree, Mr. Nichols was a Managing Director for the Beckway Group, where he managed the delivery of strategic transformation and improvement initiatives for many client portfolio companies and trained Junior Associates. Prior to Beckway, he was a Director for SSA & Company and assisted the business transformation project redesigning and implementing critical processes including customer service, planning, inventory management, and quality with benefits.
Mr. Nichols received his BS in Industrial Technology with a concentration in EHS from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. He received his Master’s Certificate in Supply Chain Management and Operations from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. In addition, he is a Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB).
