Dulce Martinez

Dulce Martinez is Palm Tree's Head of Client Coverage, focused on developing and institutionalizing Palm Tree’s relationships with financial sponsors, family offices, business owners, entrepreneurs and other capital providers. She works closely with key clients leveraging the firm’s capabilities and expertise to deliver tailored solutions across various transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, restructurings and special situations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Throughout her career, Ms. Martinez has demonstrated an exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. By acting as a trusted advisor she has been instrumental in helping businesses achieve their financial goals. Her expertise in identifying new investment opportunities and developing strategic partnerships has earned her a reputation as one of the top business development professionals in the industry.

Prior to joining Palm Tree, Ms. Martinez was a Managing Director at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth where she played a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding the firm’s client base. She primarily supported the firm’s middle-market mergers and acquisitions, debt advisory and venture capital practices nationally. Ms. Martinez began her career at Morgan Stanley before moving on to hold senior positions at several other firms and has over 16 years of experience originating, managing, and executing business development mandates across various sectors.

Ms. Martinez was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco and studied English Literature at Arizona State University. She has lived in Los Angeles for over a decade where she resides with her husband, young daughter and two dogs. In her free time she enjoys skiing, hiking, practicing yoga, and cooking.
