Ken Bauer is a Vice President in Palm Tree’s Strategic Finance service line, primarily focused on private equity performance improvement, reporting analytics, sell-side preparation advisory, and FP&A. He brings over 7 years of experience in financial and transaction advisory, corporate restructuring and liability management advisory, and private equity performance improvement.

Prior to Palm Tree, Mr. Bauer worked as an associate at M3 Partners and Accordion Partners focused on restructuring and performance improvement engagements. Earlier in his career, he was an analyst at Summit Partners, a Boston-based growth equity firm, where he familiarized with SaaS unit economics and leveraged buyouts. He began his career at PIMCO within a specialized quantitative group, where he developed analytical models and automation tools in Python and C++, including applications leveraging AI/ML techniques.

Mr. Bauer graduated with highest honors, earning a dual B.S. in Finance and Economics from Northeastern University. He has passed all parts of the Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (“CIRA”) program. Outside of work, Mr. Bauer is focused on optimizing health and performance, studying foreign languages, and pursuing continuous self-development.
