We were engaged by a publicly traded billion-dollar biopharma and healthcare corporation to expand the capabilities of its Corporate Finance team.

Our mandate was to enhance financial modeling, planning, and control processes by delivering robust forecasting and investment tools, standardized processes, and knowledge transfer—positioning the client for long-term success.

DCF & ROI Modeling: Built standardized models for Manufacturing and IT divisions, illustrating ROI, payback periods, and KPI outputs for both management and departmental stakeholders.

Capital Investment Controls: Introduced submission forms for new requests and established controls around asset life and depreciation to ensure accurate project cash flow representation.

Forecasting Framework: Developed a flexible, five-year forecasting model leveraging normalized historicals for accurate comparisons and reliable projections.

Scenario Planning: Enabled multi-variable, multi-scenario analysis across segments, business lines, and profit centers.

Upskilling Finance Team: Conducted hands-on training and transferred ownership of the models to the FP&A team, enhancing capabilities for future budget cycles.

This engagement provided the sponsor and management with scalable tools for forecasting and capital planning, while empowering the finance team with the skills and processes to sustain value long after the engagement.
