LOS ANGELES, April 15th, 2021 — Palm Tree LLC, a consulting and advisory firm focused on M&A and the private equity investment cycle is pleased to announce the promotions of three team members: Danny Arnaout and Spencer Hong to Vice President and Michael Duffy to Senior Associate.
The promotions come as Palm Tree is seeing remarkable growth since adding its investment banking division, and as an outcrop of the current economic climate. “Our team is stronger with these three outstanding individuals on it,” said Dave Wolinsky, Managing Director of Palm Tree. “Because our culture is very important to our business, promoting from within helps us to keep that culture alive and reinforce the growth of our team members. I am very proud of the example they have set.”
Mr. Arnaout joined Palm Tree in 2018 as an Associate. He brought experience across several industries and sponsor-owned companies and had previously worked in turnaround and restructuring. “In the three years I’ve been with the Firm, I’ve seen Palm Tree transform significantly,” he said. “I look forward to helping grow its footprint in FDD, T&T, and our new capital markets services.”
Mr. Hong joined Palm Tree in 2019 as an Associate. His experience in corporate finance, M&A, analytics, and client advisory across diverse industries have added value and insight to many client engagements. “We have a talented team at Palm Tree, and I’m humbled to be a part of it,” said Mr. Hong. “Our people and leadership are the reason we can deliver for our clients like we do.”
Mr. Duffy also joined Palm Tree in 2019 as an Associate. He has brought experience in private equity, venture capital, and international credit direct investing to the Palm Tree investment banking division. “Working with the leadership of our capital markets team and contributing to its success is a highlight for me,” he said. “The potential for our investment banking services is simply enormous and I’m fortunate to be part of its growth.”
All three will continue on client engagements and will assume greater responsibilities for training and mentorship of junior team members, as well as participate in strategic initiatives of the Firm.
